Ok, after a lot of advice from certain members in this forum! :)

I have come up with the following spec:

case
Antec Solution Slk3700amb
49.51

motherboard
ASUS A8N-SLI Premium
95.38

cpu
AMD (Venice) Athlon 64Bit 3000+
61.63

ram
2x 1Gb DDR400
Free - Already have them in my old system

harddrive
2x Seagate ST3250824A 250GB Barracuda
Free - Already have them in my old system

graphics card
Gainward 6600GT 128mb
74.95

The total is slightly under £300.

I chose that motherboard because it leaves me HUGE space for upgrading in the future if need be.  Will this system be any good, and is there anything you would change?

Also, that case has a 350w psu, will it be enough?

Thanks

The 350watt supply is the only concern I have, especially if you are going to upgrade in the future.  450 watts and above would be my recommendation, and I would choose a name brand model: Seasonic, Ernermax, PC Power and Cooling, Zalman, Antec Truepower, or Thermaltake Purepower.  Make sure the +12v rail delivers 24 amps or more, which is needed in startup.
