I would like a sales manager to use outlook contacts. he wants act.
all he wants it a way to see all his regional guys contacts. He does not want them seeing eachothers.
Is this possible with standard outlook 2003 features. How about if i upgrade to pro and use
business contact manager?
I just dotn have time to impliment a new techonolgy right now. (act etc..)

Yea i was thinking of that, and I will suggest it, but I think he will want it to be a central datbase of some sort, so he can sort them all together or search against them all etc..

thanks Simon.
As long as all of the sales people are storing their email in their mailbox (ie they can see it through OWA),then all that they have to do is right click on the contacts folder and choose Properties. Set the permissions to allow the manager to have access.
The manager can then open the contacts folder using File, Open, Other User's Folders.
