VPN 619 error with inconsistent connection

One person outside of my office has a very difficult time connecting through VPN consistently.  Sometimes they can connect and other times not.  Mostly 619 errors when trying to verify name and password.  Our office has a Windows 2003 Sm. Bus. server using an esoft router for VPN/Firewall.  The remote computers are using Windows VPN connections. 3 of 4 users outside of the office do not have the same inconsistent connections.  It seems to be something on that particular computer although the VPN connections are set up the same. I have looked at a lot of the other questions dealing with this error but did not see any that had connections sometimes and not others.

This user is using a wireless laptop.  Some times they have the same trouble with a wired desktop in the same office but at times can connect using either computer.

Thanks for any help.

There can be a few reasons for a 619 error. Apparently one is if the user is using SBC as the Internet service provider they may have an " SBC self support tool" installed which needs to be removed. It can also be caused by a mis-match of whether the user requires a secured password or not. Check the VPN virtual adapter in network connections under security and see that it matches your configuration. Default is Typical | require secure password | and require data encryption

Thanks for your help.  It appers that the tech that is being used rebooted everything and it seems to be working.  I'm assuming it was the router that was causing the problem.
