Need urgent assistance with Cisco IAD to 2821 hardware to purchase advice....

I currently have both an IAD2421 owned and managed by XO Communication and a Cisco 2821. I am going to be upgrading to the PRI package that XO offers and they claim that I will need to get a "card" for my router. That is all they can tell me. The IAD will have a T1 (PBX) Digital Voice Port. This is where I will grab the PRI services off of into the 2821 if I can ever figure out what kind of card I need to get. I will have 17 channels (or trunks) and the 2821 will not be doing any Internet data services at all just VoIP services for CallManager.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Since no one can seem to answer this question I have given 500 points to the person that has the answer. Many thanks!

You will need either of the following :-

NM-HDV-1T1-24= 1-port T1 24 channel voice/fax network module
NM-HDV-1T1-24E= 1-port T1 24 enhanced channel voice/fax network module

The first one supports 24 channels of low-complexity codecs and 12 channels of high-complexity codecs.
The second one supports 24 channels of both high- and medium-complexity codecs

I suggest you find out how the IAD is to be configured and the type of codec that is going to be used and then contact a cisco reseller to ask them which card will be the most suitable.
Personally I would expect the IAD to be configured with a standard codec so the first Cisco card will be suitable.
