I'm trying to migrate 25 users from Eudora to an Exchange server.  I need to move both contacts and messages.  The users have a mix of Eudora 5.x, 6.x and 7.x.  Does anyone know of a way to do this?

Thanks

Greetings, etcorp !

It is a five part process. You have to move emails and address book from Eudora to Outlook Express to Outlook to Exchange.
1. importing mailboxes from the Eudora server into Outlook Express
2. importing local Eudora mailboxes from the computer into Outlook Express
3. importing Eudora Address Books into Outlook Express
4. importing all of the above from Outlook Express into Outlook
5. moving imported mail into your Exchange account

Follow the details in this document:

Best wishes!

I"ve seen this article and similar ones from other universities (MIT, etc) but was looking for an alternative.  It took almost two hours to follow thie process for a single user and we have 25-30 users to migrate.

Does anyone have a better / faster solution?

Has anyone used Transcend's product?  Does it work well?  Is it fast?

Thanks

I have heard of Transcend, but have not used the Transcend Migrator.  There is a free trial. Try using it and see if it is fast for you.

The problem with the trial is that it only will do 5 items from each folder.  I'm sure 5 items will be fast.

etcorp,

If you know that time to transfer 5 items, can you extrapolate to 25 users to get an idea how fast Transcend Migrator will be?  You may want to contact Transcend support to determine the speed.
