Here is my question:

I discovered something by accident and I started doing it in my home town. I invested $60.00 into the idea and within 3 days I made that back and more. Now here is the problem, I cannot cover the whole US with the idea so I want to sell it online. The problem is I do not know how to market the idea. I want to sell the idea for $199.00, but I am not sure if that is too much?

I already put together a lot of information and a step-by-step guide to help people do the same thing and templates. Now the reason I want to sell it for $199.00 is if they charge for the service like I did which is $30.00 they will make that money back within days. So my question is "What would you do to market an idea like this?"

Also as a side note the idea is so simple I really don't know how to advertise it without giving the idea away in the ad?

Honeslty...  it sounds too good to be true.  I mean it sounds like a great idea, but I am sure you know what I am speaking about.

Having said that, you might consider maybe franchising or if you don't want to go that route, try an MLM or something like that.  A lot of times, people who get into those MLM enjoy the business idea that you have proposed so far (of course, I am sure there is a lot more to it).

It really depends what it is.  Basically you would be asking people to invest (money) into your / your company on something that might not work in their area.

Licenses are maybe another step.  Somewhat like franchise.  You do a contract, license the idea to the individual and then get a portion of each sell.

It also depends on what the person has to do as well.  Do they call someone - if so, do you have access to the Do Not Call list?  Or is there driving involved?  Or manual labor?

So many questions & I understand your need not to post everything all at once.

You seem pretty smart concerning this issue and marketing. Let me do this if you will give me your e-mail address I will tell you what the idea is and you will totally freak at how easy this whole things is. If not I can understand, but I really don't want to share this idea with everyone.

My contact information is in my profile.  I will need to report back on a few things but I'll verify before posting public since working offline is against the TOS of EE
