We're a public library in Ontario and have been indexed by Google Search.  The index listing is reflecting information that is several months old as opposed to the information shown on the home page when the user naviagtes to it.

Is there any way i can force Google Search to update its index listings (or entire cache) of our website?  Can this update be reflected in the index in some kind of reasonable time period?

Thank you.

You can modify the meta tag of your pages as in this example"

However, I'm pretty certain that various search engines ignore this.  Contact Google or visit the Google faq for websmasters.
