LAst night the fan on my power supply failed and the server failed w/ the blue screen of death. I restarted this morning and the only service not starting is SQL. I am running the WIN2000 SBS version of SQL (8.0 I think) and am getting the following error message:

A system error has ocurred.
System Error 1067 has ocurred.
The process was terminated unexpectedly.

There are three other articles that I reviewed, but don't have my.cnf files, etc.

It sounds as if one of the key files in the SQL installation was corrupted.  Attempt a repair installation.

McAfee Virus Scan was causing SQL not to start. Had to set McAfee service to Manual and start it after SQL started.
