Hi:

Currently I am designing a web form. I need to send all the information in the form to some email address, and at the same time forward the page to some confirmation web page which shows the summary of form information.

I know I can set the form action like <form name="myform" action = "mailto:abc@abc.com">
but how can I set the forward page in the form?

Thanks

Hi,

I do not think that
<form name="myform" action = "mailto:abc@abc.com">
would be a good idea.

Use Servlet to send the email as well as to forward the page.

Yes,

You need to use JavaMail.

>>"how can I Use Servlet to send the email as well as to forward the page?"
Are you familiar on how the Servlet works? If so, for forwarding the page, you can use RequestDispatcher or simply redirect method. Of course, before forwarding, you need to send email first.

Please let me know if you are unsure.

I believe that in the JavaMail itself, they have the sample on how to send email from Servlet. That would be your best solution for your problem.
