Neovo Monitor Problem

Hello
I own a neovo E-19A monitor , today when I was reading an article on the monitor , suddenly the light of screen decreased and after 2 seconds screen blanked ! when I turn it off and on , the screen comes with low light and then after 2 seconds goes blank again. I was using the dvi cable , I cahnged with a analog vga cable. no difference. when monitor is on the led is green and no error message is on the screen , I saw some other people have had the same problem in other forums, but couldnt find any solution. any help is appreciated

If you can still see a faint outline of what is on the display, then I think the inverter is broken, which can be replaced.

yes I can see a faint outline on the screen , is there any way I can test the inverter ? to be sure inverter is broken ?

I don't replace these units, so I can't tell you what to test.  Either the backlight or the inverter are the cause of these problems, and the fact that the light shows briefly tells me the bulb is ok.  By process of elimination, that leaves the inverter.  If you swap another unit in and the problem disappears, that would be confirmation.

You have to be very careful with the cold cathode tubes.  The inverter powers the tubes.

Thx Callandor , I still had no success repairing it , because neovo doesnt offer customer service in my country , but u were right about inverter problem , so u get the points.
