Hi all,

Why would a date field display date and time when its properties are flagged to display date only(display time is unchecked)

It is a computed field from two other date fields which also only displaying dates

Any ideas will be appreciated.

Maybe it contains text?  Check field properties in Document properties..

Steve,

It seems that I have another one of those which is date time list range, and display the time although the display time property is unchecked.
What can I do with this one? it is mucking up all my comparison formulas.

Thank you

Could you not strip off the time part when you do the comparison:

@TextTToTime(@Text(DateField);"S0")) perhaps?

The comparisions will use any value in the field so if a time component is present it will get checked against unless you remove it as above or other similar methods IMHO.

Steve,

This field was a computed field and one of the field it was computed from had date/time. Once I fixed the first field, this field then displayed everything correctly.

I'll keep your forumula in mind for other times, it is a great idea.

Thanks for all your help with this.

Which one are you talking about?

I am actually looking for help with my open calendar question.
However to make it easy, we can modify the loop that we work on with the list to incorporate the change the I need to make to the calendar view.

Really, all what I need to do is to test within the loop the time difference between the two times, then if the user answer "Yes" on the prompt, i would move all dates accordingly otherwise only this date(which was dragged then)

I am going to see if I can do something about this now, do you have any ideas to help with this one?

You've closed all the ones I commented on since I made the comment.  Will have a look at your others when I get some time, building some servers at the moment
