Why? &nbsp;Using all upper case writing is like yelling. &nbsp;As in the way you asked your question. &nbsp;In the &quot;board&quot; world and Internet, it's used to scream/yell/rant. &nbsp;But, it that's how you want to send all your email then you could use some VBA code to make all text CAPS. &nbsp;Then you could yell your little heart out!<br />

Yes I know.. and totally agree. But unfortunately it’s not my decision. apparently its something to do with having so many different users of the database not being able to follow a simple instruction and input correctly, there fore when we mail merge etc we get addresses in all different type of text.<br />

the fact that I typed my question in UPPER CASE is a coincidence and a mistake, didn’t look up from the keyboard until I finished then could be bothered to retype :-)<br />

its not for sending e-mail either, its just the outlook contact details that I need in upper case. So can you direct me on how to do this please?<br />
