So, i need a apps which is able to search a website for a given file extension ( example search for flash only, not html,zip,...). Of course, it should be able to download the files it finds for me.

But regarding "flash only, not html...", see a related note at
The problem with that is that as an image search it will only search <img> tags, not <embed> tags. This page seems to be more related: but it does appear that website copier will do the trick
What Kind of Coding Program is Right for You?

There are many ways to learn to code these days. From coding bootcamps like Flatiron School to online courses to totally free beginner resources. The best way to learn to code depends on many factors, but the most important one is you. See what course is best for you.

Point was: HTTrack needs to download the html files that contain the links to the image, flash, document, zip, or any file type. So, as I tested today, using the "-*.htm -*.html" filter means that you won't get the other files that the page contains. Perhaps it should have the option to not SAVE those files even if it gets them....
There are programs that can download just the images for you:      Free Web Image Grabber   Picture Downloader

I don't know if they have option to get only flash

I've tried all kind of offline browsers- they all have to download html before processing flash
Yes, they must be, because they need to 'read' the html file to find link to flash file. .swf is not visible at first sigh, unless you look into a directory index, which is normally blocked.

There's no way around it though. You can block loading other file type (img for examples, it will speed up the progress a lot, html file is small and won't cost much bandwidth).
oh okay. I was under the impression you were downloading the webpage (pictures and all), no of course it's necessary to at least open up the html page to seach for
<EMBED .... .swf...
? strange assignment of points there.
