Hello,
I have installed the trial version of download accelerator plus (DAP) 2.1 from their website. The uninstaller the supplied does not seem to be working. Does it need to be in some kind of special directory? This is really annoying me because I cannot download any files as the program is not working correctly, and I have no way to remove it. It has integrated itself into the browsers and I do not have enough knowledge to disable this integration. Deleting the application simply causes all browsers to say the plugin is missing, etc. but does not start the regular download manager. I do not know what to do. Any suggestions are much appreciated! I am running OS X 10.4.6 Powerbook.

When I go to the Speedbit site, Mac OS X 10.4 and Safari 2 are not on the list of supported OS and brower versions.   I would try to get support from the Speedbit support site:
