Have  download and install  kdeartwork-3.5.X  ( this package  contains icons, widgets buttons and other graphical staff for your new desktop environment )

There's no way to do that. I mean KDE is supposed to automatically detect new and upgradded libraries and use them.
It might help if you open KDE Control Center and change either theme, windows decoration, style and other appearence settings , I guess.
BTW once you open Control Center make sure correct KDE version is displayed in right hand pane .

Buongiorno seniore !

I've been busy this weeken ;=)
I don't really know where that vertical KDE startup menu flag is launched  from  but it's obviously a
glich.
I would open KDE Control Center  and change the session manager to start an empty session ...

It might help KDE to refresh its "fuzzy brain"

I know something about Linux and KDE but not really every single bit of code .
It might help to check your Linux errata as well as KDE forums for the answer.
