Windows 2000 lost password

I have a windows 2000 system that the user forgot his pasword on.
It is an old laptop with very little memory in it.  Usually I use ERD Commander but I get errors due to the small amount of memory.  Is there a floppy size application that will let me boot from floppy and kill the default administrator password or change it?  I can't boot from BartsPE either.

Need a quick fix cause it's friday and happy hour!!!!

http://home.eunet.no/~pnordahl/ntpasswd/     Offline NT Password & Registry Editor
http://ebcd.pcministry.com/             Emergency Boot CD Homepage

Word of caution here for XP, or 2K that has the later service packs:  In an account with EFS encrypted files, those files can't be read without the old password. But if encrypted files are no concern, then it's OK. I've done it myself.

EFS is not an issue.  I'll try out the boot floppy on Monday.

Thank you,

I tried this and it worked.  First time, I didn't go through all the steps and save the configuration but the second time I followed through with all the steps and it worked just fine.

Thanks!
