tabIndex Help

hi

how do i apply the tabIndex action script to a combobox component

i have my text boxes

name.tabIndex = 1;
tel.tabIndex = 2;      
email.tabIndex = 3;
enquiry.tabIndex = 4;
?
?
?
where.tabIndex = 8;

but i have 3 combo boxes (week,day and phone)

that i want to make 5,6,7 respectivly

what is the required actionscript for this

it will work same way:

name.tabIndex = 1;
tel.tabIndex = 2;    
email.tabIndex = 3;
enquiry.tabIndex = 4;
combo1.tabIndex = 5;
combo2.tabIndex = 6;
combo3.tabIndex = 7;
where.tabIndex = 8;


by the way, you can start tablIndex from 0

hi

i tried that initially and i gets stuck on the first combo and wont go any further

here is my actionscript


name.tabIndex = 0;
tel.tabIndex = 1;      
email.tabIndex = 2;
enquiry.tabIndex = 3;
week.tabIndex = 4;
day.tabIndex = 5;
phone.tabIndex = 6;
where.tabIndex = 7;

Any idea why this might happen?

This is the way, it works..

compile swf using same code

and try it by double clicking in Explorer, or run it through IE and check the result..

If you would try to test the tab key directly in Flash authoring tool, it may not response properly...
