it will work same way:

name.tabIndex = 1;
tel.tabIndex = 2;
email.tabIndex = 3;
enquiry.tabIndex = 4;
combo1.tabIndex = 5;
combo2.tabIndex = 6;
combo3.tabIndex = 7;
where.tabIndex = 8;

by the way, you can start tablIndex from 0

hi

i tried that initially and i gets stuck on the first combo and wont go any further

here is my actionscript

name.tabIndex = 0;
tel.tabIndex = 1;
email.tabIndex = 2;
enquiry.tabIndex = 3;
week.tabIndex = 4;
day.tabIndex = 5;
phone.tabIndex = 6;
where.tabIndex = 7;

Any idea why this might happen?

This is the way, it works..

compile swf using same code

and try it by double clicking in Explorer, or run it through IE and check the result..

If you would try to test the tab key directly in Flash authoring tool, it may not response properly...
