I just get a blank screen when trying to open my webcam under Yahoo Messenger. Have you any idea how I might correct this?

My Logitech webcam works under it's own software but not Yahoo Messenger.

Today's new devices, such as tablets, smartphones and wearable computing devices are considered peripherals as they can be connected and used on a computer system. The difference, however, is that these devices can run independently of the computer system.
