Hi , my question is about Components Package and IDEs :

If i want to make a package for every Delphi IDEs Version , should i install every IDEs on my machine and then generat the approp package using the appopriat IDEs or is there any other alternative to gererate  Packages .

tehnically speaking, the correct way would be to get each package generated by it's own ide.

on the other hand, the package is just a text file so you should be able to just get another package from another component and modify it to contain your files ;)

BUT, this way, you might get your components not to complie under older versions. so just install all ideas (or have some people help you ;) ) and also compile to make sure it compiles.

no, sorry. never heard of sucj thing and a quick search didn't reveal anything either. maybe you should ask the ppl that told you that for more info, maybe a link ;)
