How do I get 3ds max 8 to run without administrator privileges?

Hi,

If your version is a trial, must be an administrator.

If not, try log on as an administrator and make sure the Max shortcut is in the 'all users' start list and not anything else. If you put the shortcut on the desktop as one user, no administrator privileges will be set.

If the problem persists, maybe the solution pointed below solves it.
