exchange server smtp

Hi,

Can we use the remote server smtp from the sbs exchange server. How?? we don't want to use the smtp service of the server on which exchange server install.

This is SBS 2003 server.

SBS calls this a Smarthost, and you can find the details on how to install and configure the SMTP connector for this here:
