hi,

I was wondering what would be a decent program to broadcast live video streams (like web cam feed or tv tuner) over my LAN network. i'm Not trying to broadcast live video over the internet.
I just want to broadcast a live video stream on one computer, and pick it up with another one on my wireless network, like my laptop

you can also try videolan client (http://www.videolan.org/vlc/) but vlc streaming is not so easy

other solution for TV would be sage tv (http://sage.tv/) or beyond tv (http://www.snapstream.com/)
im trying some of that stuff.

i figured out how to stream with vlc (much easier than other stuff i've seen). but its kinda of acting wierd.
when i go to capture device, i choose "ATI TV Wonder Capture" for video. and when i just do that it works out fine. but once i also choose an audio device (like line in or microphone) , the video doesn't work. it might display one frame and then keep it there. im not sure why the video doesn't work when i have the audio on with it.
but its fine if i stream files on my computer
