hi

what would 'recompile' mean in terms of....

'open, about.FLA and add a stop action on first frame... recompile it.

this way it will not play itself after loading...'

thanks

If I understand your question correctly, you're asking what a tutorial is saying if it tells you to recompile something after doing some changes to a certain fla file right? If this is so, then it means that you are to publish it into an swf file. The easiest way to do this would be to press CTRL+ENTER or SHIFT+F12 (the 1st one being used to test immidiately). The other method used for final publishing would be to go to the file menu and then publishing the movie.
