EventID 12002

Hi Folks,

Problem highlighted when a user called to say he could not open an attachement to an e-mail.

When he tried to open the e-mail he was presented with the following error:

'Could not open one or more attachments'

The e-mail opens and you can read the body of the e-mail but not the attatchment.

So, i went and had a look at the Exchange server (2000) and in the event viewer and noticed a lot of error messages relating to EventID 12002.

'Error 8004010F-80000000 occurred while processing message <> from 'xxxxx@xxxxx'

Nothing has changed one the server and everything was working fine the night before.

Any idea what has happened here and how i can fix it?

I will put up 125 points increasing to 250 for quick solution.

I have contaced Microsoft and are in the process of sending the link to the hotfix.

I will let you know how i get on.
