Hi,

I am using SAMBA server and re-directing my My Documents folder to the SAMBA server file share.

When I do this a file "desktop.ini" appears in the My Documents folder.

How can I stop this occurring?

Why does it occur.

Thanks.

Andrew

Hi Andrew

You might try edit smb.conf and add:

 hide files = /desktop.ini/
 or
 veto files =  /desktop.ini/

hope this helps
