Symantec 10 Client Uninstall

Hi,

I have to uninstall Managed Symantec Corporate 10 Client from a client machine [having winxpsp2 OS]. The Symantec server to which the client install points to no longer exists. The uninstallation is aborting with a fatal error. Is there any third party software which can force uninstall the software or do i have to manually remove all the registry entries (any tool which can auto detect these entries in the registry and deletes it would be great!!!)

Thanks in advance

Greetings, venkataramanaiahsr !

The most reliable way is to use the manuel method outlined here
Manual Uninstallation of Symantec Products

NoNAV is an automatic program that works on Symantec Antivirus 9, but does not get all the files in Symantec AV 10.

What does it mean to be "Always On"?

Is your cloud always on? With an Always On cloud you won't have to worry about downtime for maintenance or software application code updates, ensuring that your bottom line isn't affected.

I assume from the above discussion that if you have version 10.0 that you had to use the manual uninstall instructions??  It would be nice to have an automated utility such as the one used for version 9.0.
