When searching for an email I use the , right click on folder choose advanced search method.  I was wondering if there is a faster way of doing this ? and by faster I mean one that searches for emails faster, that way takes too long to find an email

This might not be the right soloution for you but i use google desktop

http://desktop.google.com/

i find this very quick for searching email and files on my laptop, a lot quicker than microsoft.

if you have an old computer that already struggles for resources then this will definitely slow your machine down further. but will be ok if you have lots of free memory.  Mine is currently crunching 30mb Ram

Also the first time it runs it will index all files, emails on your machine which can take a long time which on my laptop took nearly a week because of shutting down and starting up, but now its ok.
