PHP and ASP..do they mix?

Is it possible to do a web project in PHP on the same server that has a project done in ASP? Currently I'm developing a program on my own computer, but eventually it will have to be moved and there's some concern as to whether or not the two will play nicely. At least one thing that makes me feel better is my project and others (regardless of language) will be stored in their own directory.

Any input?

I know it works in IIS, not sure about other web servers...

note that you will need to install PHP and configure IIS to make it working:
