Exporting Folders from Exchange 2003 to a PST file

I have multiple users who have mailbox sizes well into the 2-4 gigabytes some with dozens of folders and sub-folders... Is there a program that will allow me to create a PST file with just the folder structure so I can copy the messages over to those folders?

I know about the tool ExMerge, however that has a 2 GB PST file size limit... Any other suggestions would be great...

Thanks,

It isn't a problem with a limit on exmerge, it is a problem with PST files. They have a 2gb limit. I haven't seen any applications use the newer format of PST files that will allow an increase in the size.

There are applications that will automatically break up the pst file during the export - creating as many as are required. I can't remember who does one - I see so many - it might be Quest.

Thanks, i wonder if there is a way to just copy the folders using exmerge and not the messages?

Anyway, I found something on Microsoft's site that allows you to set the size of a PST to 20GB using outlook 2003... not sure how stable that file be, but maybe i will give it a try...  Here is the link to the registry settings that need to be changed.

That is an Outlook 2003 thing.
EXMERGE doesn't support the Outlook 2003 version of PST files.
