Do you know JDBC? If not, then you need to go through the JDBC tutorial:

http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/jdbc/

Some samples here:

http://www.javaalmanac.com/egs/java.sql/pkg.html

You need to download the appropriate driver for DB2. Select your database from this page and then you'll get a link to the site(s) from where you can download the driver:

http://developers.sun.com/product/jdbc/drivers

Come up with some initial code and then we can help you further.
