Bitblt and gif file

is it possible to bitblt an already transparent image on my form without copying the gray color of the picturebox?

i am aware of the bitblt example's with tons of api, and i am also aware that i could use the image control
i'm just curious if there is another way

VbAccelerator has some useful code libraries for this kind of thing.

Specifically:

  Resampling with Alpha

More generally:
  vbMedia Index
