Policy: Screen saver and time out

Hi All,

I would like to set all workstations to have a a default time limit of 30 mins when a screensaver (of my choosing) takes effect locking the workstation.

Is this possible through use of the GPO?

Thanks

user config

Administrative Templates\Control Panel\Display    Screen Saver         <<- enable
Administrative Templates\Control Panel\Display    Screen Saver executable name    <<- specify your .scr file
Administrative Templates\Control Panel\Display    Password protect the screen saver    <<- when it comes out of screensaver it prompts for p/w
Administrative Templates\Control Panel\Display    Screen Saver timeout     <<- set your 30 mins

Jay,

Thank you for the quick response. I will put this into action and test it.

from my experience, it is just the default .scr, it doesnt provide and texture capabilities, you can create your own .scr with custom settings and then apply that file
