Error when starting Matlab 6.0

I installed matlab 6.0 yesterday. but it is showing the following error when I start the application

"Failure Loading Desktop Class"

Does anybody know what the problem might be ??

If your processor is a P4.. then your problem might be this.

I am indeed using a p4 processor.
What a queer relationship between a processor and an application !!!!!!!!
