New window page not functioning

When I do a google search or do anything on the internet, and when I right click on the link and i click open in new windows, the new window comes up but it stays blank, there is no progress bar or status bar showing it is busy working and there is nothing in the address bar, it stays that way untill i click stop then i can see the adrress in the address bar.

Please help
