SESSION timeout

can sessions timeout?  i use sessions on a webpage, and ive left it open for a while without and refreshed it and my session has empty...

i had to start my browser again to get it back working...?

In php.ini there is a session_timeout thing...

but i don't know what it does...

=)

what version of php do you use?
