creating an executable without GUI

hi, i am not an expert in creating windows apps but i know vb. i am trying to use vb.net to create a standalone program (exe) to do acertain task (parsing a file and moving a file) without a GUI. what are the steps to do that?

I would create a regular Win app with Me.Visible=False

well i am running the program with a scheduler, so does it make sense to just create a reguar win app wit all the code in the form load and then compile to exe?

BTW, I would suggest to make the form itself invisible, but place the icon (maybe even with a context menu) into the systray.
