I'm converting a crystal viewer from vb6 to vb.net and I'm having some problems deploying it that maybe someone can help me with.

I get an error: System.windows.forms.axhost+invalidactivexstateexception when it hits CRViewer1.ViewReport()

Code:

        CrxReport = CrxApplication.OpenReport(strFileLocation, 1)

        CRViewer1.ReportSource = CrxReport

        CRViewer1.ViewReport()

Deployed using ClickOnce to a network share

What Crystal files are you including?  Did you change the viewer to the .Net viewer?

What version of Crystal?

Crystal 8.0 RDC

AxInterop.CRVIEWERLib.dll
Interop.CRAXDRT.dll
Interop.CRVIEWERLib.dll

I have it working on at least one client, now.  I removed some of the unused references.  I haven't been able to try it on the initial failing workstations, yet though.

I am not sure if CR8 is supported on the .Net platform.
