I intend to release a new application.

Can you suggest me some good sites where I can distribute my software? I wish to post for free.

I started with download.com but can't find how to post :( Anothers sites?

download.com is the download site for cnet.com AFAIK. you will probably need to sign up in order to post your app. I think this applies to all download site if you wish to post.
