Is there a way in which a header record can be exported, so that the exported date file can be used as a source data file for an MS Word mailmerge template.<br />

The header record being the names of all the fields being exported so that MS Word can match actual fields with mergeformat names.<br />

I have tried creating a DUMMY record and pre-filled the fields with the names that I want to appear as header record field names. However, you can't always enter a text name into all fields and if you could, not that easy to always make it the first record.<br />

I have looked everywhere within FileMaker Pro 7 and can find no parameter that can be used to export this critical detail. Ironically, FileMaker on Import allows you to align the first record of data imported. Surely there must be a reverse feature?
