Hi all,

The equipment that we have is as follows:

Speedtouch 546
Sonicwall TZ150
ISP providing 2 static ip addresses

What I want ti achieve:

To conect to the ISP with the speedtouch and place the sonicwall TZ150 between the speedtouch and the company LAN to enable us to work remotly via the VPN available on the TZ150 (Using the Global VPN Client, We have purchased 2 VPN licences form sonicwall).

What I have at the moment:

I have conected the speedtouch to the Broardband connection and the LAN (without the TZ150) and using DHCP on the speedtouch, all is well, internet, email etc, no problem. When I introduce the TZ150, I am unable to reach the internet etc from the LAN. I have tried all the settings that I can think of but seem to be getting nowhere, I think that I have reached the point of confusing myself, and cannot see the wood for the trees.

What I am looking for:

Some kind person to help me set this up via step-by-step explanations, diagrams (or telepathy!) whatever it takes to get this working. I have an understanding of networks, however, I am not a guru, and have yet to master the art of NAT.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for taking the time to read.
Any further info required, please ask,

Keith

Go to the Speedtouch webpages, in the Menu select Home Network>Devices, click the TZ150, or if it hasn't been personalized yet, click the MAC address of the TZ150.  On the top right clik. Configure. Now you can change the name and lock its IP address, and assign applications and services. As I am not aware of how you are accessing the configuration this is one method.I suggest you download the following:

Hope this helps...Booda2us
