you mean i can do the scheduling by writing to a bat file and that is where i use windows scheduler to run?<br />

but is this a reliable way to schedule a job? would it be better if i used another 3rd party tool to schedule this? (like MSDE manager, so we dont have to buy the full sql server version) that way i can view logs and debug, etcetc<br />
