ccApp hangs on shutdown (WIN XP Pro)
Hi everyone.
Unfortunatly, I have Norton System Works 2006 installed on my PC, (WIN XP PRO) and when shutting down, get the error message ccApp failure to close. Unless I end the hung program, the computer stays on.
Any advice on how to get around this? I have researched ccApp issues, but most of these seem to be a start up issue.
Thanks in advance.
Ken.

I'd say get rid of Norton entirely, but if you don't want to do that, have you tried uninstalling Norton, running a registry cleaner (like CCleaner), and then reinstalling it again for a fresh install? That may clear up the program. If not, check out the event log to see if anything is conflicting with it.
