Domain expired.  Internet inactive

Hi,

my domain name has expired.  will this cause my internet not to work?
i have a mail server which hosts my domain mail - i can understand mail not working
i have a website externally hosted with the domain - i can understanf that not working
my ISP is a bigname company which has nothing to do with my Domain but my internet doesnt work either
i only host my own mail.  my mx record points to my server.

help me work this out please.

You should contact your ISP reguarding you internet not working.

If you do not renew your domain, you will loose the name and the records pointing to your web/ mail servers will go away.

so do u think the internet not working is a seperate issue??  thats what im trying to figure out?

once the domain is renewed will the records pointing have to be resetup?

I don't know, the longer you leave it before renewing the more likley you will have to resetup the records.

ALSO YOU CAN LOOSE THE DOMAIN if someone else wants it.
