New page, no page rank

Hello,

I added a new page to my site recently. It got indexed ok, and is now cached regularly. What I can't figure out is how come the page rank is zero. It is well linked to from several other pages, including index which is rank 4. All other pages on the site have some level of ranking, and most of them are no more special (ie linked to from outside) than this new page. Anyone know why?

Thanks

Joe

first you need to wait a while to see what page rank it will have, putting a new page up (or having that page indexed) does not mean you auto get PR. my site has a PR of 6 and new pages can take weeks on weeks to show any sort of PR for the new page.

also your new page many not have the same PR as the rest of your site but again you won't know this until its got some sort of PR. my advice is to wait it out a few weeks, as long as its linked, and indexed it should come.
