Title in telent window

At the moment I use "cmd /c start " Execution- CLI on nprabha" telnet 10.77.10.118" from the run command to start a telnet session. The title is not displayed unless I remove the IP address and connect manully.
How can I can telnet to connect to automatically to the required IP whilst still displaying the required title?

Perhaps run a batch file with

title whatever you like
telnet x.x.x.x

wont do the job steve. I'v esince found out that it's hard coded into telnet and you can't change the title of the telnet window once it's connecting or connected. you can before that. Since your the only one who tried to answer, you get the points.

Fair enough.  Works for other progs as you aware but I guess telnet.exe isn't one of them.

There are of course nothing short of several million free telnet clients out there so I suppose you could always try a few more.

BTW Have you tried using a url telnet:ipaddress which fires it up from IE or maybe hyperterminal  which also does telnet since W2K.
