I have a windows advanced server 2000 sp4,  host oracle databases on D  and  E
Os is on c drive

  C :  16 gb 4gb free
  D:   68 gb 48gb free
  E:   236gb 60 free
Memory is 3,654, 080

The page file is only on c drive and wrong
   Initial 2046  maximum 4092
And performance set for background services

What is the proper page file settings, and should there be on on each physical drive

Hello underground712!

The pagefile configuration looks OK.  But, I would move the pagefile over several drives.  Ultimately, for best performance, move it off of your primary drive.  However, with 2000 you'll loose emergency recovery options on startup.  Not always a good idea.  But, it depends on what other disaster recovery you already have in place.

FYI:  The best practice for the pagefile is...

Example: 512MB

Initial should be:  768
Maximum:  1536
