I have a client that wants to run windows and red hat 9 on both his machines. One machine is plugged into the router and has no problems at all. THe other has a wireless belkin card model f5d 7000 version 6000. I called belkin and they do not support linux, but they said I can write the drivers for it. Does anyone have drivers that they have made for it? Or how hard is it to write my own?

Redhat 9.0 is a bit old.  I would suggest you go for Fedora Core 4/5.. Belkin f5d7000 works with ndiswrapper which can be downloaded and install from http://ndiswrapper.sourceforge.net/.
