We are developing a WAP site using ASP.NET mobile controls.
We want to reduce the default size of button... for this we are trying to apply stylesheet to the command control.

The effect is visible on design mode but when the page gets rendered the stylesheet doesn't work. The size of the button remains same.

Please let us know proper method of applying style sheet on mobile command control. Or else is there any other way of reducing the size of the button.

Your problem for this question and last is that you are trying to make a fancy website using mobile controls. Mobile controls render as WML which isn't as flexible as HTML.  What you see in you design window is what it would look like if it rendered in HTML, which it won't on a mobile... unless the mobile accepts HTML... and even then, you can not be sure that the HTML parser built into the phone will give you the same result as you would on IE or Firefox - browser compatibility is not limited just to PC browsers.

What you should try is making two sites, one with your controls for low colour which will be rendered in WML or HTML depending on what content type your phone accepts, and one mini HTML site with everything scaled down.

Your phone browser is not a like a PC web browser so you will be limited in what you can achieve. If you expect to get a PC browser type site on a mobile device, you'll need a PDA that can run PC browsers.
