DVD-R not recognized, but has data we need

This was in a video camera that lost power before the DVD-R could be finalized.

I have tried various DVD hardware to read it and various operating systems... to no avail.

They all say either no disc or format not recognized.

This is very urgent and I would gladly triple points for successful fix.
How can I get the movie data?
