Hi,
I have to pass the user's full name into a parameter. I am able to get the userid from Globals.UserId but I am not able to get the user's full name.
Is there any way to get the user's full name (not userid) in SQL server reporting services.

Thanks

The answer is 'yes' and 'no'.  There is no built in function that will allow you to retrieve a user's full name.  However, through SQL Enterprise Manager, you can add Active Directory as a linked server and then write SQL statements against Active Directory to get the user's full name.  Here is an article that describes how to create Active Directory as a linked server:

Hope that helps.
